This sugar beet program is intended for informational use only. For the best possible results tailored to meet your needs and soil type, check with your AgPro™ representative for specific recommendations.

Pre-Plant GOAL REASON
Fall ground application:
32 to 64 oz of RECLAIM per acre. Rate depends on soil test sodium levels.Spring ground application:
32 to 64 oz of RECLAIM per acre ground application

Prepare soil for planting by stimulating air and water management Fall application with spring follow up give the best yields. RECLAIM mediates the effects of sodium and residual chemical toxins on plants and stimulates soil microorganisms.Sugar beets are susceptible to alkali/high sodium conditions in the field which will damage yields and sugar content
Planting GOAL REASON
Spring – (If fall applied) 16 oz of RECLAIM over row.
Stimulate strong initial root growth and disease resistance Young beet plants need a strong dose of phosphates to trigger strong root growth. RECLAIM stimulates soil activity allowing break down and absorption of the phosphates
Hail Recovery GOAL REASON
16 to 32 oz FOLIARPLEX per acre
Provide a coating and protection for broken cell walls where disease can enter. This mix will help heal the plant and keep disease down while plant closes open lesions, the gateway to disease. High nitrogen will spark leaf growth and plant recovery.
Fungicidal Application GOAL REASON
1st Fungicidal application
8 weeks before harvest add:16 to 32 oz of SUGAR BOWL per acre

2nd Fungicidal application at 4 to 6 weeks before harvest add:

16 to 32 oz. of SUGAR BOWL per acre

Improve efficiency of your fungicide and nourish plant. SUGAR BOWL is designed to keep the plant cool by regulating plant respiration so it doesn’t use up the carbohydrates it has already produced. These carbohydrates are then available to become sugar in the root. It also stimulates microorganism breakdown of soil nutrients into digestible forms. This combination has proven effective in raising the sugar content and yields.
Herbicide Spray Program
Apply 16 fl. oz. phLAME per 100 gallon tank mix with contact herbicides.
Fungicide Spray Program
Apply 16 – 32 fl. oz. SS 9 per 100 gallon tank mix with fungicide.
Note about Spraying:

We strongly recommend using an adjuvant with your sugar beet program. AgPro™ specialty surfactants (SS 9, SPREADER STICKER, phLAME) have proven cost effective with spray applications of chemicals (fungicides, herbicides, pesticides) to allow lowest label rates with better results. The synergy can add potency and extend the chemical life and have allowed some growers to experiment and get exceptional results with well under label rates.

Please ask your AgPro™ representative for the appropriate product for your needs and grower’s experiences in your area.

What Growers Say
